Job description

The purpose of this service is to provide technical support for the design, development, integration, maintenance and continuous improvement of AI-enabled solutions, automation workflows, software components and data solutions supporting Local Connectivity activities.

The service supports AI-enabled process automation, information analysis, operational reporting, user-facing AI solutions, internal applications, data integration, testing activities and technical documentation. The service also supports the review, testing, validation and integration of AI and automation solutions introduced by Local Connectivity service providers.

Under the guidance of the Service Owner and designated technical experts, key responsibilities include:

Develop and maintain AI-enabled solutions, including AI assistants, AI agents and automated workflows supporting operational and service-management activities.
Support the review, integration, testing and validation of AI and automation solutions proposed or implemented by Local Connectivity service providers.
Maintain knowledge sources and support the content quality, response quality and continuous improvement of user-facing AI solutions deployed through Microsoft Teams and other approved collaboration platforms.
Develop and maintain lightweight internal applications, dashboards, APIs, data pipelines, scripts and operational-support tools.
Analyze ServiceNow and other operational data sources to identify trends, recurring issues, service risks, process-improvement opportunities and service-provider performance observations.
Support the preparation and maintenance of technical documentation, repositories, test records, operating instructions and quality-control artefacts.
Support technical investigations, proofs of concept, validation exercises and continuous-improvement initiatives related to AI and automation capabilities.
Perform activities using approved Siemens platforms, tools, repositories and governance processes.

The service may deliver, when required:

AI-enabled solutions, including AI assistants, AI agents, workflow automations, scripts and prototypes.
Technical reviews, proof-of-concept outputs, integration outputs, validation records and test results.
Knowledge-source updates, user-query reviews, content-quality improvements and content-gap analyses.
Internal applications, dashboards, APIs, data pipelines and analytical outputs.
Operational analyses, service-provider performance observations, process-improvement findings andma nagement-support information.
Technical documentation, repository updates, test cases, operating instructions and maintenance deliverables

Requirements

Mandatory:

Junior Level - Practical experience with Python development, scripting or automation.
Junior Level - Experience with generative AI, large language model applications, prompt engineering or AI service integration.
Junior Level - Understanding of REST APIs, web services and system-integration concepts.
Junior Level - SQL and data-processing skills using Pandas or equivalent technologies.
Junior Level - Experience supporting web applications, dashboards or lightweight internal tools.
Junior Level - Experience using Git or equivalent version-control systems.
Junior Level - Experience performing structured testing and maintaining technical documentation.
Mid-Level - Professional communication skills in English, written and verbal.

Nice to Have:

Junior Level - Experience with retrieval-augmented generation, enterprise knowledge solutions, AI assistants or multi-agent solutions.
Junior Level - Experience with workflow-automation platforms.
Junior Level - Exposure to containerisation, CI/CD or application-deployment concepts.
Junior Level - Experience with Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint or enterprise knowledge-management platforms.
Junior Level - Exposure to ServiceNow, IT Service Management concepts or ITIL practices.
Junior Level - Knowledge of networking concepts, including LAN, WLAN, WAN and Internet Access.
Junior Level - Exposure to data visualisation, machine learning or operational analytics.
