Change Manager – M365 Tenant & AI Integration

Job description

We are seeking a Change Manager service for governing and driving changes within the Microsoft 365 (M365) tenant, with a strong emphasis on API-based integrations, identity & access governance, and AI services such as Copilot and Agents, but as well 3rd party application into the M365 Ecosystem.
The service ensures secure, compliant, and business-aligned adoption of M365 capabilities, including Microsoft Graph, App Permissions, Copilot APIs, and Microsoft Copilot extensibility (MCPs) and our “Share unless” principle, while minimizing operational risk and enabling innovation

Requirements

MANDATORY

 Change Governance & Execution
  • Own and govern the end-to-end change lifecycle for M365 tenant services
  • Ensure structured risk assessment, approval workflows, and rollout strategies
Security & Compliance by Design
  • Evaluate and control application permissions (delegated & application)
  • Ensure compliance with data protection, legal hold, and regulatory requirements
Microsoft Graph & API Governance
  • Govern the use of Microsoft Graph APIs across applications and services
  • Review and approve custom integrations leveraging Graph and Copilot APIs
  • Mid-Level - App Registration & Permission Management
  • Oversee Azure AD / Entra ID App Registrations lifecycle
  • Detect and mitigate over-privileged or risky application
AI Integration Governance
  • Enable secure adoption of:
  • Microsoft Copilot APIs
  • Copilot extensibility (MCPs – Microsoft Copilot Plugins/Connectors)
  • Define guardrails for Data access via AI systems
Risk Management & Monitoring
  • Identify, assess, and track change-related risks
  • Implement continuous monitoring
Stakeholder Management & Communication
  • Translate technical changes into business impact and value
  • Senior LevelTechnical Expertise
Deep knowledge of:
  • Microsoft 365 architecture
  • Microsoft Graph API (REST endpoints, permissions, throttling, etc.)
  • Entra ID (Azure AD) app registrations & permission models
  • Copilot APIs and Microsoft AI ecosystem
  • Microsoft Copilot extensibility / MCPs
Understanding of:
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect
  • API security patterns
Governance & Process
  • Strong experience in:
  • Change Management (ITIL or similar frameworks)
  • Risk & compliance management
  • Enterprise governance models
