Job description

The client is seeking a hands-on Chief Information Security Officer to enhance our organization's security posture.
The goal is to safeguard our digital assets and ensure compliance with industry standards.
The expertise should help us in developing a robust cybersecurity strategy that aligns with our business objectives.
They require assistance in identifying potential security risks and implementing effective risk management practices.
Additionally, we need guidance on establishing a comprehensive incident response plan to address any security breaches promptly.
The expertise should also support us in maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
The CISO will have one part-time cybersecurity officer reporting to him/her, in charge of documentation/reporting.

Goals and deliverables
The primary objective of the CISO will be to secure expertise in information security to achieve the following goals and deliverables:

Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy.
Identify and mitigate potential security risks.
Establish an effective incident response plan.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Enhance overall network security measures.
