DBA plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our organization's databases, enabling efficient data management and supporting business operations.

Requirements

Goals and deliverables

Strong Database Skills – SQL, PLSQL, MARIADB among others.
Database Installation and Configuration
Design efficient and effective database structures (data models, database schemas, establish relationships between different data entities)
Cloud Database Administration – AWS and Azure
Good understanding of company’s business
Strong analytical skill and give quick solutions.
Should be able to work with Dev/Support both the teams.
Good Communication.
Ability to work autonomously.
Team spirit and engagement in projects
Data Modelling for analytical purposes
Data modelling for OLTP databases
Strong SQL skills: querying, procedures, and administration tasks
ETL and ETL principles
English and Portuguese

This is a challenging project involving a migration of the DB from AWS to Azure

*High proficiency both on on-prem and cloud DB is required.

*DB development on Microsoft SQL

*The profile must be able to come to the office almost everyday to support the IT Director => must live close to Lisbon/Campolide
