Job description

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst for a project-based assignment within the fund industry. The ideal candidate will have strong operational knowledge in fund distribution, execution, and fund data management.

This role involves working in an international and bilingual (French/English) context, supporting strategic and operational initiatives through business analysis, process optimization, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and support business processes related to fund distribution and execution
Collaborate with stakeholders to manage and structure fund-related data
Apply project management methodologies to ensure the effective delivery of initiatives
Contribute to understanding and optimizing the financial ecosystem, especially in fund distribution
Work with and interpret SWIFT messages (MT and MX formats)
Utilize general IT tools such as SQL, XML, Confluence, and Jira for data queries, reporting, and task tracking
Serve as a bridge between business and IT teams, ensuring clear and precise communication of business needs

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the fund industry or a similar financial services environment
Strong understanding of fund distribution operations and financial data flows
Experience with SWIFT messaging formats (MT and MX)
Proficiency with tools such as SQL, XML, and Jira
Excellent analytical, synthesis, and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Highly organized, with a solid sense of priorities, attention to detail, and professional rigor
Comfortable working in an international and bilingual environment (French and English)
