Front-End Developer (JavaScript / TypeScript)

Candidates with immediate availability

Location: Porto area (hybrid)

Start date: Beginning of November

Contract: Initial assignment of ~6 months, with potential extension depending on project evolution

About the Role

We are looking for a Front-End Developer to join our client's internal development team and help build the front-end of a new portal. You will develop user-facing interfaces and integrate them with backend services, working side by side with the client's engineers in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

Develop front-end interfaces for a new portal
Integrate front-end components with backend services via REST APIs
Build responsive, high-quality user experiences across devices
Work directly with the client's internal development team
Contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies (planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives)
Collaborate through Git, including code reviews and branching workflows

Required Skills

Strong experience with JavaScript / TypeScript
Experience with React, Angular, or equivalent front-end technologies
Experience integrating with REST APIs
Experience with responsive web development
Proficiency with Git and collaborative development practices
Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
