Job description
As a Jira Administrator, you will be responsible for setting up and configuring Jira to meet the specific needs of our client.
Your duties will include:
Jira Installation and Configuration:
-Install and configure Jira software.
-Customize Jira workflows and issue types to align with client's processes.
-Set up user permissions and access controls.
Project Configuration:
-Create and manage projects in Jira.
-Define project workflows, issue types, and fields.
-Assign project roles and permissions.
Report and Dashboard Creation:
-Design and implement custom reports and dashboards to track project progress and key metrics.
-Configure email notifications and alerts.
User Training and Support:
-Provide training to end-users on how to use Jira effectively.
-Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance.
Requirements
-Strong understanding of Jira and its core functionalities.
-Experience in configuring Jira workflows, issue types, and permissions.
-Ability to customize Jira to meet specific business needs.
-Knowledge of SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, Python) is a plus.
-Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
