Job description

The client is looking for an experienced QA Tester to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of proven experience in quality testing and will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products through comprehensive testing and the implementation of rigorous quality processes.

A successful QA Tester should be hardworking, possess solid practical knowledge in software development and testing methodologies, and be a collaborative team player.

In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you are also skilled in executing test cases and passionate about quality, we would love to meet you.

Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications, and systems function correctly.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute functional, integration, regression, and performance testing on software products

• Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios

• Identify, report, and track defects using a defect management system

• Collaborate with the development team to understand system requirements and functionalities

• Participate in the review of specifications, design, and technical documentation to ensure early identification of quality issues

• Develop and maintain test automation strategies when appropriate

• Perform exploratory testing to detect undocumented issues

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing and quality processes

• Provide constructive feedback to the development team to improve code quality

Requirements

Requirements and Skills

• Over 2 years of proven experience as a QA Tester

• Solid knowledge of software testing techniques, methodologies, and tools

• Experience with manual and automated testing

• Ability to create, maintain, and execute effective test cases

• Familiarity with defect management systems (e.g., GitLab, JIRA, Bugzilla)

• Understanding of Agile development principles and testing practices

• Clear and effective communication skills

• Proactive attitude and problem-solving abilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (optional but preferred)

• Software testing certification (optional but preferred)

• Development experience for automated testing
