Redis & Elastic Stack Engineer (Senior)

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Redis & Elastic Stack Engineer to join mission-critical infrastructure and enterprise data platform projects.

This role requires strong hands-on expertise in Redis, Elasticsearch, and distributed systems administration, with a focus on scalability, observability, reliability, and performance optimization. The engineer will play a key role in managing high-volume environments, improving platform resilience, and supporting operational excellence initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead the administration and optimization of Redis and Elasticsearch infrastructures
Design, configure, and maintain distributed Redis and Elasticsearch clusters
Manage Elastic Stack solutions including Kibana, Logstash, Beats, and Elastic Agent/Fleet
Perform advanced troubleshooting and performance tuning
Implement automation and DataOps best practices
Support containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
Optimize indexing, search performance, and data lifecycle management
Contribute to platform scalability, resilience, and monitoring strategies
Produce technical documentation and operational guidelines
Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and engineering teams on critical projects

Requirements

Strong experience with Redis and Elasticsearch administration
Advanced knowledge of Redis Cluster, Redis Sentinel, sharding, and replication
Experience with performance tuning and optimization in distributed systems
Solid understanding of Elastic Stack and observability tools
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and automation practices
Python, Java, or shell scripting knowledge
SQL and Elasticsearch DSL experience
Experience working with large-scale or mission-critical environments

Nice to Have

Redis Modules experience (RedisJSON, RediSearch, RedisTimeSeries)
Experience with MongoDB, Cassandra, or Couchbase
Relevant Elastic/NoSQL certifications
Background in enterprise-scale infrastructure operations
