Job description

This service request is to provide end-to-end Scrum Master support one program, enabling effective agile delivery across up to seven distributed teams operating in three-month waves.

The service ensures consistent facilitation of Scrum practices, coaching of teams and Product Owners, proactive management of impediments and dependencies, and continuous improvement of delivery quality and predictability.

It supports the evolution of teams from setup and stabilization to self-organization and internal ownership, contributing to sustainable agile maturity and improved organizational governance.

Key Deliverables

1. Agile Process Facilitation & Moderation

Facilitate all Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Retrospective)
Support and structure wave planning and cross-team reviews
Ensure adherence to Scrum principles, roles, and artifacts

2. Coaching & Enablement

Coach development teams on self-organization and agile ways of working
Support and mentor Product Owners (e.g., backlog management, prioritization)
Establish and evolve Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD)
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and feedback

3. Impediment & Dependency Management

Proactively identify, analyze, and remove impediments
Manage and create transparency on cross-team dependencies
Support escalation handling and risk mitigation

4. Delivery & Quality Assurance

Ensure stable and predictable delivery across all waves
Monitor progress, velocity, and team performance
Support adherence to quality standards

5. Organizational Development

Drive the agile maturity of teams and the broader organization
Support the transition from external support to internal ownership (enablement approach)
Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and governance structures

Engagement Model

One Scrum Master supports up to two teams

Requirements

Entry Level - Studies in Electrical engineering, electronics as comparable field alternatively a qualification as estate-certified electrical engineer.

Senior Level - Several years of experience as Scrum Master in complex, scaled environments

Senior Level - Strong knowledge of agile frameworks (Scrum; SAFe or similar is a plus)

Senior Level - Experience managing multiple teams simultaneously and in international and distributed team setups
