Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. This service is pivotal in shaping our data landscape, with a strong emphasis on designing, developing, and optimizing robust data models and data products. The successful candidate will play a critical role in building scalable, high-quality data solutions that empower data-driven decision-making and support our ongoing analytical transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain efficient, scalable, and well-documented data models within our cloud data warehouse environment (Snowflake).
  • Build, test, and deploy robust data pipelines and transformations using dbt (data build tool) to create reliable and production-ready data products.
  • Collaborate closely with data analysts, business stakeholders, and other engineering teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability across all data assets through rigorous testing, validation, and monitoring processes.
  • Optimize data warehouse performance, manage data governance standards, and implement best practices for data security.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, dbt projects, and data products.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to data consumers.


Requirements

  • Mid-Level - Data Visualization tools - Qlik Sense / Qlik View / Tableau.
  • Senior Level - Strong understanding of design principles and ability to translate requirements into technical specifications.
  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience as a data engineer or in a similar role, preferably in a multinational, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience leading and mentoring data engineer colleagues.
  • Senior Level - Strong self management and problem-solving skills.
  • Senior Level - Snowflake and DBT knowledge is preferred.
  • Mid-Level - Practical experience with agile methodologies.
  • Senior Level - Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Senior Level - Fluency in English is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and complex query writing.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Mid-Level - PowerBI (DAX, models, scale, RLS, etc).
