Job description

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team. While your primary focus will be on robust backend development, experience with frontend technologies, particularly Angular, would be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop custom extensions and reports for Polarion , leveraging Java SDK 22, JavaScript and Velocity to enhance functionality and connect with other systems.
Develop and maintain back-end services using Node.js 22 and up with the Express.js framework.
Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.
Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD

What We're Looking For:

Solid experience with Java SDK 22 or similar with practical experience in developing applications or extensions.
Solid understanding and experience with JavaScript for web development and scripting.
Direct experience with Polarion ALM 23 and up (nice to have).
Strong experience with Node.js 22 and up and the Express.js framework.
Experience with Angular for front-end development (nice to have).
Familiarity with CI/CD principles and experience with GitLab CI/CD.
Knowledge AWS of cloud platform.
Familiarity with NOSQL database systems (MongoDB / DocumentDB).
Familiarity with OpenSearch.
Demonstrated leadership potential or experience, including mentoring junior colleagues, taking initiative on projects, or guiding technical discussions.

Requirements

Senior Level - Node.js 22 and up with Express.js framework: Strong experience in developing and maintaining backend services.
Entry Level - Velocity: Experience leveraging Velocity for Polarion ALM enhancements.
Mid-Level - CI/CD Principles and GitLab CI/CD: Familiarity with CI/CD principles and experience implementing/maintaining pipelines.
Mid-Level - AWS Cloud Platform: Knowledge of the AWS cloud platform.
Senior Level - NOSQL Database Systems (MongoDB / DocumentDB): Familiarity with these systems.
Senior Level - Demonstrated Leadership Potential or Experience: Including mentoring, taking initiative, or guiding technical discussions.
Mid-Level - Angular for front-end development
Mid-Level - OpenSearch 3.x
