Senior Solutions Architect | Fintech

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join our Fintech team to work collaboratively with peers from a large high street merchant and international bank.

The project requires the extension of an existing service that already provides rolling credit to the merchant’s high street customers. The extension is to provide additional embedded finance options to these customers at checkout in store, on the web and over mobile.

The work will require the architect to liaise with their peers, business and product owners in other organizations to deliver the embedded finance solution.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Collaborating with peers, business, and product owners in various organizations to deliver an embedded finance solution.

·        Engaging with engineers on current architectures and necessary changes.

·        Producing strong technical documentation to support governance processes.

·        Designing and securing APIs.

·        Working with AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes.

·        Creating and managing architectural artefacts and processes.

Requirements

·        5+ years of work experience in solutions architecture or related roles.

·        Experience with AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes.

·        Strong knowledge in API design and security.

·        Ability to produce comprehensive architectural artefacts and follow structured processes.

·        Experience collaborating with business and product owners across organizations.

·        Strong technical documentation skills.

·        Familiarity with unsecured lending (UK) and retail payments and reconciliation is highly desirable.

·        Comfortable with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
