Snowflake Data Engineer

Job description

We are looking for a Snowflake Data Engineer to join a global Data Analytics team supporting a modern Cloud Data Platform.

In this role, you will contribute to the development and support of Snowflake-based solutions, working closely with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions. You will collaborate with international teams in an Agile environment, supporting multiple projects across Sales and Finance data domains.

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with strong Snowflake and SQL expertise who are also interested in developing their knowledge of DBT and modern data engineering practices.

Requirements

Mandatory

4+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles
At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake
Strong SQL skills
Experience analysing and modelling datasets
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum)
Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Business Fluent English (C1)
Portuguese residency

Nice to Have

Experience with DBT (or willingness to learn)
Consulting experience
Experience working with cloud-based data platforms
Experience supporting Sales and Finance data domains
Experience working with distributed international teams
Strong organisational skills
