Snowflake Data Engineer
Remote / Hybrid

About the role

Our client runs a large portfolio of Data Analytics applications on a cloud data mesh framework, with Snowflake as one of its core pillars and 75+ SAP systems connected across several business areas. With a growing number of change requests in the Sales and Finance data domains, they are looking for a Snowflake Data Engineer to support and develop their Snowflake environment.

What you will do

  • Support and develop data solutions in Snowflake for the Sales and Finance domains
  • Analyze and model datasets to deliver reliable, scalable solutions
  • Discuss business requirements with stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions
  • Work across multiple projects, with a value-generation mindset
  • Collaborate with distributed teams and customers in different countries and time zones
  • Grow your DBT skills while contributing to the team’s data pipelines

Requirements (must-have)

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Snowflake Developer (Senior-level Snowflake knowledge)
  • Solid experience in SQL, analyzing and modeling datasets
  • Consulting experience, with the ability to discuss business needs and propose solutions
  • Experience with agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum)
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Advanced written and verbal communication and presentation skills, including customer-facing work
  • Business-fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Junior-level DBT knowledge and willingness to learn

Nice-to-have

  • Hands-on DBT experience
  • Strong SQL expertise
  • Experience in agile frameworks
  • Experience working with distributed, multi-country teams
