Software Asset Management - Consultant SAM Implementation
Job description
This long-term initiative involves supporting a Software Asset Management (SAM) program for a public administration client. The project spans two years and requires multiple consultants to assist with SAM implementation and administration.
The client is a public sector entity, and the project demands experienced professionals with proven expertise in project management and software asset management.
The project includes several roles, each contributing to the SAM initiative:
1 FTE- Consultant SAM Implementation
1 FTE - Commercial SAM Administrator
1 FTE - Technical SAM Administrator
1 FTE Operational Support SAM Service
1 FTE - SAM Tool Consultant
1 FTE - Consultant SAM Inventory Scanner
Each role is estimated to require 50 to 100 person-days of work, distributed for 23 months.
Distributed for 40 hours per month.
Requirements
- Work will be conducted nearshore and is planned to be fully remote
- Candidates must have experience with database scripting
- USU License Management
- RayVentory
- ITIL
- Data management
- German language skills (ideally C1 level) are mandatory
- Prince2 certification is required
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience
- At least 1 year of experience in database scripting
- Security clearance may be required depending on project specifics
- Preference for candidates with prior experience in state administration projects
- Knowledge in catalog data maintenance and license inventory is highly valued
