We are looking for a Senior AWS Database Administrator to support mission-critical database environments on AWS technologies. You will be responsible for supporting the database layer across multiple services and technologies, participating in international projects, and influencing current and future technology choices.

Main Responsibilities & Key Activities:

  • Installation, configuration, and maintenance of AWS RDS, Aurora PostgreSQL, Aurora MySQL, and Redshift;
  • Performance tuning and optimization of database workloads;
  • Query optimization and workload management;
  • Providing 360° support for database layers across different technologies;
  • Participating in international projects and contributing to technology strategy decisions;
  • Working in shift rotation and on-call support to ensure service continuity.


Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting mission-critical database environments on AWS (AWS S3, AWS Lambda, AWS Cloudwatch);

  • Proven experience with AWS RDS and AWS Aurora (PostgreSQL and MySQL);

  • Proven experience with Amazon Redshift;

  • Strong track record in database performance tuning and query optimization;

  • Experience working in shift-based and on-call support environments.
