We are looking for a Senior Power BI Developer / Data & Analytics Expert for a project in Hybrid at Lisbon or Porto, 2x/week.

You should have solid experience in enterprise environments, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to design end-to-end data-driven solutions.

Experience in the banking and insurance sectors is valued, particularly in AML, KYC, and Compliance contexts.


Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in Analytics and Data roles, with at least 2–3 years focused on Power BI in enterprise environments
  • Power BI – Advanced level
  • DAX and Power Query, including data modeling and optimization
  • Data modeling: Star Schema, Snowflake, reusable semantic models
  • SQL: complex queries and performance tuning
  • Databricks: data consumption and integration with analytical layers
  • ETL/ELT: experience in data ingestion and transformation pipelines
  • Azure Data Factory or equivalent orchestration tools
  • Data Quality frameworks: profiling, validation, business rules
  • Code versioning (Git) applied to BI projects
Nice to Have

  • Python (Pandas, PySpark) for data transformation and exploratory analysis
  • Apache Kafka or experience with streaming data
  • CI/CD applied to Power BI deployments (Pipelines, DevOps)
  • Certifications
