We are looking for a skilled and passionate Data Warehouse & BI Engineer to join our Data team, in Lisbon.
This is a hybrid role, 3x week at the office.
You must be a problem solver that leverages technology to solve difficult problems at scale. This role challenges its owner to work quickly and effectively. This role will bridge the gap between data analysis and data science, playing a pivotal role in the design, development, and optimization of our data architecture.
You will be responsible for translating business and analytical needs into logical data models, implementing efficient ETL processes, and ensuring that our data warehouse and data marts are robust, scalable, and insightful. Your work will directly support decision-making across the organization,
enabling data-driven insights through modern BI tools.

Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain logical data models and architectures for the enterprise data warehouse and data marts.
- Develop and optimize ETL pipelines using tools such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and modern orchestration techniques.
- Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective data solutions.
- Implement and support reporting and dashboard solutions using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across the data warehouse ecosystem.
- Analyze data for ad-hoc requests;
Requirements
- Graduate in Computer Science, Business Intelligence or similar;
- Up to 4-years working specifically in BI, data warehousing, and ETL development.;
- Demonstrated experience in designing end-to-end BI solutions (from data ingestion to reporting).
- Proven experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL development.
- Strong hands-on experience with SSIS and SSAS.
- Proficiency in SQL and performance tuning of large datasets.
- Working knowledge of Power BI for creating reports and dashboards.
- Understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security concepts.
- Evidence of taking ownership of large-scale data projects.
- Portuguese: C1
- English: B2
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse, Snowflake, or BigQuery).
- Familiarity with Python, R, or similar scripting languages for advanced data processing.
- Exposure to data science tools and collaboration with machine learning pipelines
- Certifications in ETL, PowerBi, SCRUM (and others) is a big plus;
- Nice to have experience with Data Vault architecture.
