Digital Analytics Engineer
Remote
Descrição da posição
We are looking for a Digital Analytics Engineer to join an agile, collaborative team where your voice matters as much as your code.
You won't just be managing databases; you'll be a technical partner helping us migrate and modernize our architecture.
We're looking for someone who loves to build, learn, and guide others. You'll be working closely with our development teams and our clients, so clear communication and a collaborative spirit are key.
How You'll Contribute
- Requirements Translation & Specification: Work closely with stakeholders across Digital Product, Analytics, Marketing, and Engineering to translate measurement requirements from source materials into clear technical tracking specifications for software teams.
- Tracking Implementation & Configuration: Configure and maintain both client-side and server-side data collection through Tealium, and support integrations with Adobe Analytics and other downstream platforms.
- Data Architecture Assessment: Assess existing tracking setups and define new events, attributes, data layer requirements, or event schemas.
- Quality Assurance & Debugging: Validate implementations delivered by software engineering teams, proactively investigating tracking defects, data quality issues, and consent-related problems.
- Compliance & Consent Management: Ensure all tracking implementations strictly align with consent requirements managed through OneTrust.
We're Looking for Someone Who...
- Is a Hybrid Specialist: You sit perfectly between a reporting analyst and a pure front-end engineering role, understanding how modern web and mobile applications are built.
- Drives Cross-Functional Alignment: You are confident working directly with digital product managers, digital analysts, digital marketing teams, and software engineers.
- Is an Effective Communicator: You possess clear written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to translate complex stakeholder requirements into actionable technical tracking specifications.
- Has Strong Problem-Solving Skills: You have strong debugging and validation skills using browser developer tools and network inspection tools.
Requirements
- Programming: Strong JavaScript skills, ideally beyond the typical level found in standard analytics implementation roles. Experience with modern web frameworks like React or Next.js is highly beneficial.
- Tag Management Platforms: Hands-on experience with Tealium iQ and Tealium EventStream (preferred), or alternatively, strong experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) or Adobe Experience Platform Tags (Adobe Launch).
- Digital Analytics: Knowledge of digital analytics platforms, preferably Adobe Analytics.
- Data Structures: Highly skilled in creating, interpreting, and implementing data layer specifications and event schemas across websites and/or mobile apps.
- Consent Platforms: Experience managing consent and tracking compliance through platforms like OneTrust.
