We are seeking an experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer specializing in low-level C/C++ development on Linux-based platforms. The role focuses on developing and enhancing software components for advanced networking solutions, including Smart WiFi systems (middleware and WiFi extenders), IoT Hub, and retail Ethernet routers.
The successful candidate will contribute to the roadmap by addressing new technical challenges and delivering robust, high-performance firmware and software modules for next-generation WiFi technologies (WiFi 6, WiFi 7, and WiFi 8).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop software modules in C/C++ for Linux-based WiFi platforms (WiFi 6/7/8).
  • Support the specification, design, and implementation of new features, interfaces, and APIs.
  • Perform corrective development and stabilization of software across multiple platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, reliable code delivery.

Requirements

Required Technical Skills (Mandatory)

  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming.
  • In-depth knowledge of low-level Linux operating system development.
  • Experience with version control using Git and GitHub Projects.
  • Proficiency in Bash scripting.
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols: TCP/IP (IPv4/IPv6), REST, and WebAPI.
  • Familiarity with JSON data handling.
  • Experience using development tools such as Jira, Make, Visual Studio Code, and SonarQube.

Preferred Technical Skills

  • Background in embedded systems, firmware development, or networking device software.
  • Knowledge of system administration for network operating systems.
