Messaging & Data Platform Engineer (Senior)

We are looking for a Senior Messaging & Data Platform Engineer to join enterprise projects focused on distributed messaging systems, data streaming, and critical infrastructure operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Kafka, RabbitMQ, Spark, and distributed systems administration, with the ability to troubleshoot complex environments, optimize platform reliability, and contribute to automation and operational excellence initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the administration and optimization of RabbitMQ and Apache Kafka infrastructures
  
• Support Apache Spark operational workloads and distributed data processing pipelines
  
• Troubleshoot complex distributed systems and high-availability environments
  
• Implement best practices for messaging reliability, governance, and scalability
  
• Automate operational tasks and support DataOps initiatives
  
• Support Docker and Kubernetes-based infrastructures
  
• Integrate messaging platforms with ingestion and processing systems
  
• Monitor infrastructure health, availability, and performance metrics
  
• Produce technical documentation and operational standards
  
• Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams on enterprise-critical projects
  

Requirements

• Strong experience with RabbitMQ and/or Apache Kafka
  
• Apache Spark operational and troubleshooting experience
  
• Advanced knowledge of distributed systems and messaging concepts
  
• Experience with AMQP, topics, partitions, offsets, and delivery guarantees
  
• Strong automation and scripting experience
  
• Docker and Kubernetes experience
  
• Python, Bash, Terraform, or Ansible knowledge
  
• Experience in enterprise or high-availability environments
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with Debezium or Apache NiFi
  
• Observability and monitoring experience
  
• Relevant middleware or messaging certifications
  
• Experience supporting mission-critical distributed platforms
