Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our Professional Services Team. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of project planning, execution, and completion. This includes coordinating the efforts of the project team, capacity planning and ensuring project goals are achieved on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of external and internal stakeholders.
The Project Manager role is critical to the success of the organization, requiring a strong combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and project management experience.
The position is full-time and the required hours for this position are Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM Eastern Timezone with a one-hour lunch break.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop a comprehensive project plan, including project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements. Collaborate with all stakeholders to identify project goals and objectives.
- Team Coordination: Assemble a project team and provide leadership, direction, and support throughout the project lifecycle. Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members.
- Risk Management: Identify and manage project risks, developing risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans, as necessary.
- Budget Management: Monitor project expenditures, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget and provide project cost reports to internal stakeholders.
- Project Status Reporting: Provide regular status reports to stakeholders, updating them on project progress, issues, and risks.
- Quality Management: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and that project goals are achieved to the satisfaction of stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Management: Identify and engage project stakeholders, managing their expectations and ensuring their satisfaction with project outcomes.
- Change Management: Manage project scope changes, evaluating their impact on project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in project management.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including capacity planning, project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing
complex projects, preferably in a technology, specifically
software-related, or engineering field.
- Strong leadership,
communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with project
management software, such as Smartsheet, MS Project, etc.
- Knowledge of project management
methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, or Scrum, and an understanding of
the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Certification in project
management, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or PMI-ACP is preferred.
· Bachelor’s
degree in a related field or 3 years of relevant experience is preferred.

environment.
- Demonstrated
adaptability to changing priorities, embracing new processes or
technologies, and maintaining productivity and professionalism during
periods of change.
