Most QA jobs give you one slice: run someone else's test cases, or maintain someone else's scripts. This one gives you the whole discipline.

What you'll actually do:

  • Sit with stakeholders and shape requirements before a line of code is written — then turn them into test conditions and test cases you designed
  • Build UI and API automation in Katalon using data-driven and keyword-driven approaches — real framework work, not just record-and-playback
  • Wire your suites into Jenkins/BitBucket CI and validate data directly in Oracle and SQL Server
  • Own the defect lifecycle in JIRA/Xray and be the voice that tells the project the truth about software quality

Requirements

What we're looking for:

  • Experience across the test lifecycle: requirements gathering and documentation (text + diagrams), test condition/case design, defect management, QA reporting
  • Hands-on UI and API test automation; Katalon knowledge
  • Solid Java and SQL; experience with Oracle and SQL Server
  • BitBucket/Jenkins, JIRA/Xray, Shell scripting; scheduling tools (ideally Control-M)
