We are looking for a Scrum Master / Project Management Office to work at our client. This is a hybrid position, 1x at the office in Lisbon area.

The service requires comprehensive project management support for integration projects, with a dual focus on Project Management Office (PMO) activities and Scrum Master responsibilities. You will collaborate with accountable project roles, contributing to efficient planning, coordination, and Agile team delivery.

PMO Responsibilities
  • Support the initial planning stages of projects
  • Create structured project schedules and plans based on objectives, resources, risks, time to market, and budget
  • Identify dependencies and potential issues across teams
  • Contribute to delivery within established quality and process standards

Scrum Master Responsibilities
  • Guide and coach Scrum Teams in the application of Scrum principles
  • Promote a collaborative, self-organizing team environment
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and workshops
  • Help remove impediments and support the team in delivering incremental value


Requirements

  • Between 2 to 5 years of proven working experience in both Scrum Master and Project Management Office (PMO) roles within the information technology sector
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
  • Agile Coaching & Mentorship – deep proficiency in Scrum and other relevant agile methodologies, with the ability to effectively coach and guide teams in their understanding and application
  • Meeting Facilitation & Workshop Leadership – expert ability to organize and facilitate productive Scrum ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) and workshops, ensuring engagement, focus, and adherence to timeboxes
  • Project Monitoring & Performance Tracking – expertise in monitoring project performance, tracking progress, identifying and managing risks and issues, and establishing/tracking key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Proficiency in Project Management Tools & Systems – competence in managing and leveraging various project management software and systems to streamline workflows and reporting
  • Methodology Development & Standardization – proven capability to develop, maintain, and implement standardized project management methodologies, agile frameworks, and best practices

  • Transparency & Proactive Risk Management: A strong advocate for transparency, adept at identifying and communicating project and team risks in a timely and appropriate manner.
