Building a Cohesive Digital Fabric with Power BI & Power Apps

We are seeking a specialized professional with expertise in Power BI and Power Apps to help us architect and optimize a seamless digital fabric for data analytics and process automation. This partnership is crucial for transforming our data products, streamlining internal and client-facing workflows, and significantly elevating user experiences by leveraging the full potential of Microsoft's business application and data platform capabilities.

  • Integrated Solution Architecture & Implementation: Designing and implementing robust technical solutions that seamlessly integrate into our existing data and application landscape. This involves leveraging Power BI for insightful reporting and Power Apps for custom applications and workflow automation, ensuring a unified and efficient operational fabric.
  • Data Fabric Integration & Modeling: Optimizing our data architecture by integrating diverse data sources, including Snowflake, and crafting efficient data models. This ensures a reliable and performant data fabric that underpins accurate, actionable analysis and supports advanced analytics.
  • Performance, Scalability & User Experience: Developing user-centric solutions focused on operational efficiency, scalability, and superior user experiences, ensuring these solutions are well-integrated into our broader digital environment and contribute to a cohesive user journey.

Requirements

  • Senior Level - Microsoft Power Platform & Analytics Development: Proven ability to design independently, develop, configure, and customize complex solutions using Power BI (reports, dashboards, datasets), Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Query.
  • Senior Level - Data Fabric Architecture & Optimization (Microsoft Fabric & Snowflake): Deep expertise in structuring and optimizing data models, integrating diverse data sources (including Snowflake), and leveraging the capabilities of Microsoft Fabric to build a robust and scalable data foundation.
  • Senior Level - Advanced DAX & SQL Proficiency: Mastery of DAX for complex calculations and advanced data modeling within Power BI, coupled with expert-level SQL for efficient data integration, querying, and performance optimization.
  • Senior Level - Solution Design & Technical Specification: Strong understanding of architectural design principles and the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, robust technical specifications and scalable solutions that fit within our digital ecosystem.
  • Mid-Level - Agile Methodologies & Quality Assurance: Practical experience with agile development methodologies, including testing strategies and quality assurance processes.
  • Mid-Level - Self-Management & Problem-Solving: Demonstrated strong self-management, proactive problem solving skills, and the ability to drive tasks to completion independently
  • Senior Level - Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and team members.
  • Mid-Level - English Fluency: Mandatory fluency in English for effective communication in a global environment.
