Software Developer (Go, Angular, Kubernetes)

We are looking for a Mid-level Software Engineer (Go / Angular) for a hybrid project, 2 days per week on-site, in Lisbon.

About the Role

You will be joining a team focused on creating and evolving software packages and applications in a cloud-native environment. Working under a Scrum agile framework, you will contribute to both backend and frontend development, automated testing and CI/CD pipeline improvement. Business-fluent English, spoken and written, is mandatory.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core Go-based backend services running on a Kubernetes cluster.
  
• Contribute to an Angular 18 user interface.
  
• Design and implement End-to-End tests using Robot Framework and Python.
  
• Enhance GitLab CI/CD pipelines and work with Docker and AWS.
  

Requirements

• 2 to 3 years of experience in software development.
  
• Mid level: proficiency in Go, with experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and server-side applications.
  
• Mid level: strong proficiency in Angular (v18+) for developing modern web user interfaces.
  
• Mid level: practical experience deploying, managing and troubleshooting applications within a Kubernetes cluster.
  
• Junior level: hands-on experience with Docker containerisation and managing Docker images and containers.
  
• Junior level: understanding and practical experience with GitLab for version control and contributing to CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Junior level: experience developing and maintaining End-to-End automated tests using Robot Framework, with practical Python scripting knowledge.
