System Engineer - Windows & Linux SysAdmin

• Build, design, and maintain traditional infrastructure (Linux and Windows servers) and associated security tools and services.
  
• Develop and manage infrastructure services and applications running on top of operating systems.
  
• Collaborate closely with technical leads, project managers, and architects to deliver infrastructure, services, and applications.
  
• Write and maintain scripts using scripting languages such as shell scripting, bash, and PowerShell to automate processes.
  
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, document issues, implement fixes, and apply preventive measures.
  
• Utilize configuration management and automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible to streamline infrastructure management.
  
• Participate in on-call rotations, with minimal disruptions due to proactive automation efforts.
  
• Demonstrate effective leadership and cross-functional communication skills to align with team and project goals.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in building and maintaining Linux and Windows server infrastructure and related security tools.
  
• Hands-on expertise in designing and managing infrastructure services and applications on operating systems.
  
• Extensive experience with scripting languages (e.g., shell scripting, bash, PowerShell).
  
• Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve incidents, with a focus on root cause analysis and prevention.
  
• Proficiency with automation and configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  
• Effective leadership and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  
• Experience with Microsoft services and tools (e.g., Active Directory, DNS, SCCM, SCOM, Orchestrator) is a plus.
  

• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
  
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix).
  
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
