You will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing Linux-based infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security. This role involves installing and configuring servers, monitoring system health, automating routine tasks, troubleshooting incidents, and supporting users and applications. Strong knowledge of Linux distributions, scripting (e.g., Bash), networking, and system security is essential, along with experience in cloud and virtualization environments.

Requirements

  • Administer and maintain enterprise Linux environments.
  • Implement and support infrastructure services and applications.
  • Automate operational processes and deployments.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure incidents.
  • Collaborate with technical and project teams.
  • Ensure best practices in security, networking, and performance.
  • Support cloud initiatives and infrastructure evolution.

You must have:

  • Strong experience in Linux system administration (RHEL, Oracle Linux, Rocky Linux).
  • Knowledge of Windows Server.
  • Good understanding of operating systems, troubleshooting, networking, storage, and virtualization.
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools such as Bash, Shell, Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing and at least one major cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong problem-solving and incident analysis skills.
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on automation, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Availability to participate in on-call rotations.
